When I Don’t Know What To Do, I

Stop breathing. Only for a second. I think real hard and squish my eyebrows together in concentration.

And then I start the mental process of elimination – regarding the issue at hand – and I keep going until I have nothing left but one choice. Sometimes, I even have to write it all down so I can see it clearly in front of me, because in my mind things can get muddled sometimes. Eventually, I find that I’m left with something that isn’t always the choice I might have originally picked from the beginning, but it usually turns out to be the right one. This feels like the healthy way to make considered choices and decisions.
