They all say the same thing, “Right Attitude.”
I take my coffee with Hazelnut Creamer and I take my days with the right attitude. If there’s a problem, I do my part to fix it, If someone needs to be called, I call, If I need to take care of something, I do it, If I have work to do – I get it done, and then I take a nap.
We’re only allotted a specific amount of time on the planet, regardless the dramas that befall us throughout our lives. We need to make good use of our lifetimes. The original James Bond, Sean Connery, passed away this morning. Yeah – he’s gone. Poof. No longer walking the planet. No idea where he went, but I’m pretty sure he’s not coming back.
Hm. I don’t know about you, but that really gets me thinking. What can I do today that will be significant to AT LEAST ME? I can’t bear the idea of being alive and just taking up space on the planet without doing something valuable. I’ve already wasted SO much time, and I can’t get any of it back.
I think that when I start with the right attitude every morning, in some way this changes my perspective, you know? The way I see things? And this, in turn, changes how people perceive me, which changes their behavior. Sort of interesting… I can do this. Of course I can do this. This totally falls into the category of, ‘Self-Control’.
